Payment architecture (Stripe Connect)
Once activated, online payment settlement runs via Stripe Connect using the Direct Charges model.
- End customers pay directly into the provider's connected Stripe account.
- RightSlot does not hold customer funds and operates no payment accounts of its own.
- RightSlot provides no authorization-requiring payment or custody services and stores no card data.
Provider as payment recipient (Merchant of Record)
The provider is the sole payment recipient and Merchant of Record.
- The provider's business name appears on end customers' statements.
- Legal responsibility for the transaction towards end customers and card networks lies with the provider.
- RightSlot provides only the technical payment infrastructure.
Payment confirmation
Payment and booking decisions are made server-side.
- Checkout sessions are created exclusively server-side.
- A binding payment confirmation is based only on server-verified events, never on client redirects.
- Payment status is recorded and documented server-side.
Refunds and chargebacks
Refunds and chargebacks affect the provider's financial balance.
- RightSlot cannot order refunds on its own authority.
- Refunds and chargebacks are borne by the provider.
- Disputes about refunds are to be resolved between the provider and the end customer.
On-site payment and invoicing
On-site payment and invoicing are documented on the platform for information only.
- In these cases no money flows through the Stripe infrastructure.
- The collection risk remains entirely with the provider.
- For services with on-site payment, payment is made directly to the provider.
Fees and remuneration
RightSlot provides the platform as software-as-a-service (SaaS).
- RightSlot charges no transaction-based commission on end-customer bookings.
- The platform application fee is currently 0.
- The primary monetization is the provider's SaaS subscription.
Current status of online payment
Online payments are currently not active.
- Technical payment settlement takes effect only once activated and all release prerequisites are met.
- Until online payment is activated, no online payment is possible via the platform. For services configured accordingly, payment is made on site at the provider.
- These terms will be finalized together with the activation of online payment.
Limitation of liability
The limitation of liability and its specific basis of calculation are subject to external review.
This page deliberately states no specific liability cap; the basis will be legally reviewed before launch.
External review required
The final payment terms will be reviewed before public launch (external legal and payment review).
Until that review is complete, this page makes no binding commitment regarding online payments.
